We took a road less traveled . . .
We were one of the first virtual offices and evolved over time into a streaming news magazine. We have always believed that one person can make the difference for many. We believed that the knowledge of why needed addressing before real change took place. Today the importance of that knowledge has even more value.
Our Thoughts TV provides context to everyday issues and events.
Our Founders
Becky Ponkow
Although born in Idaho, Becky grew up in Western Washington, later moving to Spokane for school and settling in King County for the 80's.
She worked in the operations area of Prudential Bache later leaving to work for First Washington Corp. She was fortunate to learn from true leaders in the community and industry.
Becky met and married Mike Ponkow and together formed a business of their own.
Becky has worked in web development, streaming, and served as a City Council member in Chubbuck, Idaho.
Mike Ponkow
Mike grew up in an Air Force Family. Born in Texas, he has memories of North Carolina and later moving to Western Washington when his father retired from the Air Force. Hired for the SST program in the 60's to early 70's he relocated the family to the Puyallup area. When the program ended, Mike's father found work with Tacoma Housing Authority.
Mike challenged High School to enter the Navy at 17. He served in the Pacific Fleet, spending the first part of his service as a reservist and then in weapons on the USS Henry B Wilson. He visited Japan, South Korea, and the majority of time in the Philippines.
Later, after surviving cancer, he received more training in electronics and broadcast, culminating in an FCC License, which quickly became unnecessary due to a rule change. He also has background in servos and some automation.
He has worked as a graphic artist, animator, video streaming, and producing.
Our Philosophy . . .
We believe that the creation of the United States of America was guided by God. We believe that no human, no matter how educated, could have designed such an inspired documents as the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution without God's guidance. We feel privileged to be born United States.
We believe in free speech, as outlined in the United States Constitution.
We believe that everyone has a responsibility to stand up for what is right. Through our experiences we've found that even one person can change the course of events. In contrast, evil only requires indifference.
We believe that much of our recent history will disappear if we don't start documenting it. Our Thoughts TV devotes itself to documenting the events that we and our family lived through so others can understand the context of where we are today.
